n accordance with the OHSAA rules, Clinton-Massie Pee Wee Football will adhere strictly to the following policy. Should there be signs of a possible concussion, the athlete will be removed from the game or practice immediately and will not be permitted to return without an evaluation and written medical authorization. There will be NO exceptions to this policy!
We would encourage all parents, coaches, players and volunteers to read through the Center for Disease Control and Prevention's (CDC) educational section for concussions. All of the football coaches in the pee wee program must successfully complete a concussion protocol program and apply its guidelines appropriately
All coaches are responsible to assure that every eligible player is to participate in every regular season game. Players under suspension or being disciplined are not considered eligible.
Players can be denied playing time for unexcused absences from practices, disciplinary reasons on and off the field, poor behavior, etc..
Practice will be held Monday – Friday from 6-8 pm at the high school complex. Practice schedules will be reduced once school begins. This will be determined by the pee wee board of directors.
Each head coach will determine his policy on missing practice and/or games.
In the event of severe weather, practices may be cancelled or postponed at the coaches and/or the board of directors discretion. Coaches will then notify the players for rescheduling practices missed.
No, all items to be purchased for more than just your player; must be approved by the board of directors.
Volunteers are a vital part of our programs success. In order to keep the registration fee at a minimum, parents are required to help work the concession stand for 90 minutes either before or after your child's scheduled home game. Failure to do so will lead to forfeiture of the $75 equipment deposit. Please note, chain duty does not fulfill your volunteer requirement.
